I would like to share my highly disappointing and stressful experience with the authorized dealer of IBA Movers and Packers regarding my shifting journey from Zirakpur to Sonipat on 02 April 2025.

Initially, the dealer, Mr. Ramesh, operating from Highground Road, Patiala Road, Zirakpur, appeared to be very polite, decent, spiritual, and trustworthy. Based on his assurances and commitments, I finalized the shifting deal for ₹20,000 and specifically requested an early morning start for smooth transportation.

However, the actual experience turned out to be completely unprofessional, mentally stressful, and financially disturbing.

Although the driver arrived around 8:00 AM, the labour staff reached almost at 10:00 AM. Due to poor coordination and delay in packing, the loading process took nearly six hours, and the vehicle finally started the journey around 5:00 PM. This unnecessary delay itself reflected poor management and lack of professionalism.

The most disturbing situation started after the journey had already begun. After travelling approximately 25 km, the dealer started pressuring and threatening me for full advance payment immediately. I was clearly told that if the remaining payment was not transferred instantly, the vehicle would be stopped midway and the driver would be called back. Such behaviour from a professional service provider is completely unethical and unacceptable.

Further, my Activa scooter was withheld during the process and was returned only after police intervention. Shockingly, I had to pay an additional ₹8,000 to recover my own vehicle. Although the journey was initially finalized for ₹20,000, the total amount ultimately taken from me became ₹28,000.

During the transportation, the driver was allegedly instructed not to respond properly to my calls or provide updates regarding the vehicle location. At one point, the vehicle was halted at roadside dhabas without any prior information being shared with me. Throughout the entire journey, my family and I remained under continuous stress and tension regarding the safety of our belongings.

I strongly advise people to be extremely cautious before choosing such packers and movers services. My personal experience reflected serious concerns regarding professionalism, transparency, customer handling, and ethical business practices.

I would also request IBA Movers and Packers to maintain stricter monitoring and accountability over their authorized dealers and service partners so that other customers do not suffer similar harassment and inconvenience in future.

This review is being shared only to create awareness among genuine customers so they can make informed decisions before trusting such service providers.
